Meet the newest Stingl! Her name is Caramel! She is a 9 month old calico, who stole our hearts! We originally planned to get a kitten, but as with most animals, they pick US, we don't pick THEM, and that's what happened with Caramel. She has been at the Humane Society for a month. Her story is sad, really. Her original owner committed suicide and friends of the owner, took her in, but brought her to THS, because they couldn't keep her. Pete saw her first, when we got there and she caught Pete's eye. Well, they he picked her up, and Caramel kissed him twice! We were sold! when we got her home, we opened the carrier, and she walked out, and started exploring. She is currently exploring/testing boundaries...LOL! We'll see how she does during the night tonight :) We really hope she likes living here, and that we'll all adjust well together.

Hey mom, yup, she is litter box trained and has always been an indoor cat. She's all up to date with her shots and deworming etc. They said if she doesn't work out within a week, to bring her back and they will give us a different cat. So far, she's working out: very friendly and sweet, lots of exploring the place, checking "boundaries", good appetite :) Sonya, thanks! She came with the name Cameo, but the gal at THS said she never responded to it. So, we named her Caramel, cuz we think she looks like Caramel ;) She's responding well to her new name. We'll see how tonight goes at bedtime :)
