Last night was Pete's work, Christmas party! We had SO much fun!

Pete won this awesome frozen drink station!!!!!! They had all sorts of cool prizes. I had my eye on this one, ALL night! LOL! Let's just say, IT'S MARGARITA TIME!!!!!! ;)

Well, last night was THE night. Both Sonya and Heather blogged about the whole night, hotel, food, Starbucks etc. but I'm just going to get right to the GOOD stuff! LOL!!!! The three of us gals, had been looking forward to this night, for MANY months. Finally, the night was here! For me, it wasn't "real", until the opening acts had left the stage, and GM place went totally dark! All you could hear was screaming! (I'll try to post video, since I videotaped the whole concert). We had REALLY good seats, and I was in excellent company, not to mention, the 5 hottest guys from Boston were there to perform for US! You can't go wrong!

We did NOT want the night to end, and neither did the "guys from Boston". They did a couple of encores, and left us wanting more! Donnie PROMISED that they would be coming back to Vancouver. Us three gals agreed we're going! The husbands all said we're on our own next time. which would probably be best, since the guys from Bean town will probably want some face time with us three gals, since we didn't get any this time around :)

2 MORE SLEEPS!!!!!!!!

Yesterday, Pete and I took a drive to Fort Langley, since it was so sunny. We were walking past this one shop that sells outdoors things, mostly for the garden etc. I saw this bird bath, and fell in love with it! Pete bought it for me, because he said he had not seen me smile that big and be that excited about something, for a long time. Once we went into the shop, the guy told us that the one outside was his last one. Since it was the "floor model" and had been outside, he gave us more than half off!!!!!!!!!!!

We set it up right away in the back yard! We still have some winter birds that come around, and I've been enjoying watching them today, from the kitchen window, as I do dishes. It's going to be awesome in the spring!!!!!!
I also set up our "Charlie Brown" Christmas tree today! I got it this summer on clearance at The Bay. It's perfect for us, since we don't have a lot of room, and we have a kitten this year, who is into EVERYTHING, and it's on top of our t.v.

10 things about me

1. Every night at 10 pm. (in the winter), I have a bubble bath for half an hour. Our kitten PJ, sits on the ledge of the tub and hangs out with me :)

2. Every night at 8pm. Pete and I watch "Pinks" ( a car racing show)

3. I LOVE apples (any kind)

4. Our kitten PJ sleeps with us every night

5. I wear three rings on my wedding finger...my engagement ring, my solid wedding band, and my diamond wedding band

6. I am pretty much tired, ALL the time

7. I love Crystal Light Summer Peach drink

8. Summer is my favorite season

9. I think about my gramma Krahn, every day ( I miss her alot)

10. If "Pinks" comes to ANYWHERE in B.C., Pete and I are SO going! LOL!

I only have 2 more chemo's to go. I am hoping that to celebrate being finished with this horrible chemo, that someone will offer to send us on a trip to Maui. After these 3 months of hell, I feel that we deserve a nice trip away. I know that lots of people read my blog, but don't comment, hopefully a few people will get together, and pool their money, and bless us with a trip to Maui. We would totally appreciate a trip away, to Maui, or somewhere else warm, where we can just kick back and relax for maybe a week.

Today, my parents made the difficult decision, to put their beloved dog, Roxy, to sleep. Roxy was 13 years old and had some medical conditions. She was the sweetest, funniest, dog ever! She thought she was a human, and had her own seat at my parents' dinner table. She was full of kisses, and was SO adorable! Since Thanksgiving, she had been getting sicker, and sicker. Finally, she was unable to "hold it in" and was making messes all over the house. My parents called me today, to let me know that they were going to "let Roxy go", so I went to their place, to spend time with her, before she "had to go." As usual, she greeted me with some barking and LOTS of kisses. My parents and I took her to the vets office, and were with her, until the very end. Roxy was a part of our family, and will be missed SO much! It's like a piece of our hearts is gone, and it hurts A LOT. Please keep our family in your prayers in the coming days, weeks, and months.
