Beth is one of my dearest friends!

We have been friends since we were teens! We went to different high schools, but attended the same youth group at church. Last week, Beth and her boys were here visiting her parents for spring break, and we were able to go out and have a fun afternoon of shopping, and then accidentally setting off her parents house alarm! LOL! Beth, and her family moved to Quesnel, a few years ago, so I don't get to see her often, only when she comes out at holidays, to see her parents. I DID promise her that I would come up and visit her this spring/summer :)

So, Pete has made a decision, as to what career he wants to move into. Sales was just too difficult and stressful. Pete has decided, that he wants to do something TOTALLY different than what he is used to, and I applaud him for "jumping off the ledge" and taking this leap of faith. He would like to work with troubled teens, and teens with difficult behaviours! I think he'd be SO awesome at that kind of work! This ties in with part of the prophecy given to Pete a couple of years ago. This was the same prophecy where the guy told Pete he'd be married be the next year, and Pete didn't even have a girlfriend at the time! Look at him now, all married to the gal of his dreams! LOL! Back to the new career choice; E.I. will pay for any training or schooling, that Pete wants or needs, so we figured that this would work out really well. He can get his training thru E.I. and get started on his new career! I'm so proud of Pete for thinking "outside the box" and taking getting out of his "comfort zone".

So, my brother in law, who lives in Calgary, is trying to convince my husband, that we should move there! He's got everything planned already. My bro-in-law is going to buy a house with a basement suite, that we would live in, and will help Pete open his own collectables store in Calgary. Well, this doesn't work for me. 1) All my doctors are here and it took me SIX years to find the "perfect" cancer doctor 2) My family is here (Pete's too, in 100 Mile House) 3) I don't want to move to Calgary! I think his brother is just lonely, with no family out there, and is desperate for SOMEONE to move out there too. My bro-in-law has Pete about 75% sold on the Calgary idea. I am -100% sold on it! I've been praying about it, since this is not the first time, this subject has come up, and I'm PRETTY sure, that God does NOT want us to move to Calgary. This is not just bcuz I don't want to move there, but I've REALLY talked to God about this, and I have a feeling that He has other plans for us. Besides, Pete's daughter is here. Anyhow, all this Calgary talk really stresses me out. I just have to keep praying as hard as possible, asking God where He wants us to be.

This is the perfect picture of Pete and I. I say that, because, I collect all things Piglet, and I call him my Pooh, because he's cuddly! He's really been my strength the last while, as I navigate this crazy PV. Pete will ALWAYS be my Pooh Bear, and I will ALWAYS be his Piglet :)

I love Pete, SO much! I feel like every day that we are together, my love for him grows stronger and stronger. I appreciate the man that he is. Every day, I make a point of telling him (or texting him) that I love him, at LEAST 10 times , and I mean it EVERY time. We don't have a perfect marriage, I don't of anyone who does, but we love and respect each other, and we NEVER go to bed angry or with unresolved issues. "They" say the first year is the hardest, and we had our share of tough times, but so far, the second year is amazing, and I am more in love with Pete today, than I have ever been! I love how he makes me laugh, EVERY day, and I LOVE how he gets really excited about the little things, most of all though, I LOVE how much he loves me, and that he takes such good care of me. I feel so safe with him. He is my soul mate, and the love of my life!
