So, Pete has made a decision, as to what career he wants to move into. Sales was just too difficult and stressful. Pete has decided, that he wants to do something TOTALLY different than what he is used to, and I applaud him for "jumping off the ledge" and taking this leap of faith. He would like to work with troubled teens, and teens with difficult behaviours! I think he'd be SO awesome at that kind of work! This ties in with part of the prophecy given to Pete a couple of years ago. This was the same prophecy where the guy told Pete he'd be married be the next year, and Pete didn't even have a girlfriend at the time! Look at him now, all married to the gal of his dreams! LOL! Back to the new career choice; E.I. will pay for any training or schooling, that Pete wants or needs, so we figured that this would work out really well. He can get his training thru E.I. and get started on his new career! I'm so proud of Pete for thinking "outside the box" and taking getting out of his "comfort zone".Tuesday, March 17, 2009

This is the perfect picture of Pete and I. I say that, because, I collect all things Piglet, and I call him my Pooh, because he's cuddly! He's really been my strength the last while, as I navigate this crazy PV. Pete will ALWAYS be my Pooh Bear, and I will ALWAYS be his Piglet :)

I love Pete, SO much! I feel like every day that we are together, my love for him grows stronger and stronger. I appreciate the man that he is. Every day, I make a point of telling him (or texting him) that I love him, at LEAST 10 times , and I mean it EVERY time. We don't have a perfect marriage, I don't of anyone who does, but we love and respect each other, and we NEVER go to bed angry or with unresolved issues. "They" say the first year is the hardest, and we had our share of tough times, but so far, the second year is amazing, and I am more in love with Pete today, than I have ever been! I love how he makes me laugh, EVERY day, and I LOVE how he gets really excited about the little things, most of all though, I LOVE how much he loves me, and that he takes such good care of me. I feel so safe with him. He is my soul mate, and the love of my life!Posted by barb at 11:26 PM 1 comments

Most people who know me, know that I am a very sensitive person. I am sensitive to the needs of others, to other's feelings, and often get my feelings hurt, because I am too trusting. But, to most of my friends, being sensitive, is why they like me. Recently, I have been too trusting of some people, and have had my feelings deeply hurt. For instance, if you are going to have a get together with "all of the friends" and I am NOT invited, and you don't want me to find out, then DON'T blog about it, when you know I read your blog! This just recently happened to me (AGAIN), and the "excuse" I was given for not being told about it/being invited, is because " I knew you were going to react this way whether I told you about the get together before or after it happened." Having said this, there is now a whole group of blogs, I will no longer be reading, because I figure, if I don't know what I'm NOT invited to, I won't get hurt anymore, and I've deleted these same people from my Facebook. You can't call me "friend", and then treat me this way. Pete's so right, blogging is like Facebook, it's "out there" for the world to see, and unless you have a private blog or have your settings on Facebook set to ultra private, you really have to be careful/sensitive to others.Posted by barb at 2:24 PM 0 comments
